Dr. McCarty is a recent transplant to Austin, moving from upstate New York in the summer of 2019.
After graduating from vet school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, she returned to her hometown of Ithaca, NY, where she was in private practice for 11 years. Since moving to Austin, she is enjoying getting to know the city with her husband, two daughters, as well as a menagerie of a cats and three dogs.
